Still under contsruction. i will have more comments later. To be fair, many of these pics were not taken from the exact same height, or angle. A few however, were very close. This page will show how in many of the pictures the building and smoke line up, some very close, but the planes seem to be inconsistent in the agle of attack.
On each set, i did at least 2 comparisons, a darker overlay for each pic. On a few sets there are 3 pics, which also include one which i set the levels the same for comparisons.
I had to resize most of the images, as well as change the vertical to horizontal ratios. I also had to "twist" many of the images. (some of the pictures were taken with the camera held at an angle) This first set seem to match up amazingly well. As you can see, the smoke matches almost perfectly. The planes seem to be at the same distance from the tower, though they are tilted differently.
Even though this was surely taken from a different place, it was probabally not too far away. The smoke lined up perfectly, as did the towers themselves. Possible this was only a block or so away. Although one photo may have been taken a block or 2 away, and possibally on a rooftop, there should not be this much difference in the planes trajectory and angle.
This set is similar to the one above. The background photo is the same, but i changed the overly photo. Where this one did not line up nearly as well, the smoke at the top still did line up. I may have been able to do a better job by sizing them differently, cameras do not always give the same vertical/horizontal ratio, especially by the time it hits the web. Again, though the pics may have been taken in different places, to be able to line up the smoke and towers this well, it should not account for the wild difference in the trajectory of the plane.
Another set, using one of the above pictures, and a seperate one. This one does not match as well, and was probabally taken further away, not at the same angle. I was able to keep the size of the towers relatively the same, which shows that the size of the plane is different. You can use the above set to help reference this set.
This set matched up quite nicely. The smoke and buildings match. There is no apparent oddity in the planes path, until you reference it to the above set, which shows that the plane swooped DOWN, where this set, shows the plane on an upward trajectory.
